About
The Munich Seminar Series on Uncertainty in Machine Learning was born with two goals.
First, it offers the expanding local community a regular forum to share results, discuss open problems, and spark collaborations.
Second, by operating in a hybrid format, it connects Munich to the international community enabling direct discussion with researchers elsewhere and highlighting the field through keynote talks by leading scientists.
The keynote series is WUML featured and organized by the help of the WUML steering committee (see organizers).
Format
We feature two complementary formats.
Format 1 (fully remote):
Keynote talk by a leading scientist.
(45 min. + 15 min. Q&A).
Format 2 (hybrid):
Invited talk with dedicated discussant*.
(45 min. + 15 min. Q&A)
*The (invited) discussant will prepare a 15 min. discussion of the presentation/paper.
